Children's curiosity about gender differences can be observed as early as three with social pressures to conform strong in their environments. This workshop will support teams with creating environments that address stereotypes and inequities faced by children of all genders.
We will explore how addressing gender stereotypes also supports gender non-conforming children in having the time and space to live freely in their identity without pressure. Educators will be encouraged to better support not only children but parents and colleagues who are LGBTIQA+
This workshop is suitable for education professionals in Early Childhood Education and Primary Schools
Body Safety Australia’s workshops are inclusive of children from all family structures, faiths, cultures and children with a disability.
