Body Safety Australia is Victoria’s leading, evidence-based abuse prevention education, relationship & sexuality education provider.

Body Safety Australia was founded by Deanne Carson and Whitney Yip in 2015 and has delivered programs to children and young people from three to twenty five years old across Victoria and NSW. 

We are now looking for an administrator to join our team. 

Position: Seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable administrator to be the office back-bone to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.

Location: Bell Street, Preston

Key Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • School & Community Bookings: respond to all incoming booking requests and liaise with school to secure booking. This includes timetabling, invoicing and liaising and preparing resources for educators. 

  • Accounts receivable; liaising with clients, COO, and accountant

  • Diary management, travel and accommodation bookings for education road trips and CEO travel 

  • Relationship building with clients and educators 

  • Email and phone correspondence 

  • Up-selling of programs to clients 

  • Manage and meet quarterly targets around number of schools and workshops 

  • Manage forecast and work with COO/CEO with client relationships & bookings 

  • Utilise spreadsheets, calendars, CRM systems and invoicing software to maintain and administer bookings, and roster-scheduling

  • Assist COO to develop and execute marketing and growth strategies (email, phone and other mediums) 

  • Collate client data, ad hoc filing and photocopying

  • Maintaining inventory and submitting orders

  • Liaising with educators on inventory, bookings and rosters

Award rate: Clerks - Private Sector Award, Level 3, part-time. $23.28ph + 9.5% super.

Hours: Mondays to Fridays 9am-3pm (30hrs), flexible.

Report to: CEO/COO


SKILLS NEEDED

PREFERRED 

  • Experience working with schools or early childhood education 

  • Inventory experience

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel 

ESSENTIAL 

  • Excellent phone and email customer service 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Warm sales manner

  • Experience with cloud-based programs and Microsoft Office
