Suzanne Truman

Suzanne

I am a family violence response trainer and performer who is passionate about facilitating important conversations with children and young people.  After several years working in frontline family violence roles, I became interested in the transformative impacts of prevention work that empowers children and young people.

I have returned to study to complete my Master of Social Work to further develop knowledge and tools for the social change that I want to see in the world. I am extremely encouraged by the ideas, empathy and creativity of the children and young people that we get to work with at Body Safety Australia.  It has been highly rewarding supporting them to grow confidence in their bodily autonomy and develop skills for lifelong enjoyable and healthy relationships.
