Cindy is our only educator based in Adelaide, South Australia. Her passion for open and inclusive body safety and consent education led her to Melbourne, where she worked with Body Safety Australia to bring their programs back to South Australia.
Cindy has a background in physiotherapy, having worked as a physiotherapist with children with disabilities before her shift into education and workshop facilitation. Her work as a physiotherapist highlighted the need for comprehensive body safety education for children and their community, and the need to champion children’s voices and empower their right to autonomy and choice.
Her passion for sexual health education also led her to cofound Yes Please Collective, a small, grassroots organisation running paint and sip workshops tailored to deliver education around sexual health and vulvas. They have been recipients of ShineSA’s Sexual Health Week grants and sold out multiple shows at the Adelaide Fringe.
