Body Safety Australia is an approved provider on the Victorian Government’s Mental Health Menu. Our Imagine Me program supports students to develop a healthier relationship with their bodies while building confidence, media literacy and practical skills to navigate appearance pressures.

Available for eligible Victorian government schools.

Positive Body Image

For primary and secondary school students

Imagine Me is a strengths-based program supporting young people to explore body image, media influences and appearance pressures while building confidence and a healthier relationship with their bodies.

Program topics include:

  • Body image and body respect
  • Media and appearance pressures
  • Gender stereotypes
  • Celebrating difference
  • Recognising and challenging appearance ideals
  • Building confidence and self-esteem
  • Help-seeking

About the Mental Health Menu

The Mental Health Menu provides Victorian government schools with access to evidence-based programs and initiatives that support student mental health and wellbeing.

Schools can select programs that best respond to the needs of their students and use their mental health funding to access approved supports.

Body Safety Australia’s Imagine Me program is available through the Mental Health Menu for eligible Victorian government schools.
