Cass Woolley (She/Her) is a casual Educator with Body Safety Australia and a long-standing early childhood teacher with over 30 years of experience in the sector. Alongside her work with BSA, Cass teaches in a four-year-old preschool program, where she finds joy in supporting children to grow in confidence and discover their voice.
Cass is deeply passionate about empowering young children to express their ideas, feelings, and perspectives in safe and respectful ways. With a strong understanding of child development, she is committed to supporting children to thrive in their earliest years. She believes strongly in the importance of secure attachments and trusting relationships, particularly in the vital years under five, as the foundation for children’s growth and wellbeing. With a deep understanding of trauma and trauma-informed practices, Cass works to create learning environments that nurture resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging for every child. She is deeply committed to protecting children’s right to a childhood free from violence and abuse, and to empowering them with the skills and confidence to feel safe, seen, and respected.
Outside of her professional life, Cass is the proud parent of three young adult children who are her greatest joy. She loves sharing live music experiences with them, walking her dog, running with friends, and practicing self-care through cold water immersion, heat therapy, and sound meditation.
